Yes, the red bricks must be the typical achitectural element. There is another "dutch quarter" in Potsdam, Germany, which also uses lots of red brick work: http://www.rgbstock.com/photo/mfjKqLQ

Ok, an "Invalidensiedlung", I had the feeling it had to be something military indeed. The Dutch style must be the red brick work. That is typical Dutch I guess. But the build style is very German. At last for me it is. Great series . Thank you for sharing.
