Upgrading software

I'm debating upgrading to Adobe CC in the new year. I'm not sure if its worth the upgrade because I will be trapped in a monthly or pre paid subscription. Can anybody give advise about Abode cc products. Is really worth the upgrade if my currently software suitable for now.
