Look up M47 Patton on Wikipedia and there is a map showing it's distribution throughout Europe. Some are still operational today in certain countries.

Cool cris, thanx! i found some similar info witch confirms its a M47 ... only i have no idea what the tank is doing in that forrest

Research confirms this as being an M47 Patton American tank. Made in the early 1950s and used by NATO forces during the Cold War era.
